About Fred Boldt
Fred Boldt retired from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, School, and Early Childhood Center in 2013 after 40 years of faithful service. During his time at St. Paul’s, he served as a full-time principal, teacher, and—following his initial retirement—returned multiple times as interim principal while the congregation awaited the Lord’s provision of a permanent leader. Fred’s dedication reflected deep personal sacrifice, faithfully supported by his family and this congregation.
Fred was always passionate about children and Christian education. He believed that St. Paul’s Lutheran School was and continues to be a vital mission of the church—one that shares the message of hope, healing, and salvation through our risen Lord with students and their families. In honor of his legacy, St. Paul’s named its scholarship program the Fred Boldt Fund-A-Family Scholarship Fund.

Each year, requests for financial assistance exceed $75,000 as families seek help covering tuition costs. Through our Financial Aid Committee and a thorough, confidential application process using TADS, we carefully assess each family’s needs.
