Bible Studies
At St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc, we believe that studying the Bible is a vital part of deepening our faith and understanding God’s word. Our Bible studies offer a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals can explore the scriptures, ask questions, and grow in their spiritual journey. Whether you are new to Bible study or a seasoned scholar, our diverse range of study groups and sessions provide opportunities for everyone to connect, learn, and be inspired by the teachings of Christ. Join us as we delve into the richness of the Bible and discover the profound impact it can have on our daily lives.

Bible Finance for Young Adults
Young adults, you are making financial decisions that will affect you the rest of your lives. Why not have a sound Biblical basis upon which to make those decisions? We will be covering topics such as budgeting, emergency funds, saving, investing, debt, insurance, purchasing a house, mortgage, retirement planning, and of course, generous giving. We are going to merge your Christian walk and your financial walk into one cohesive walk with the LORD. “He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8).
Open to high school students to 30ish year-olds. Held on Wednesday evenings, January 7 - February 11, from 6:30-7:45pm in Room 219.
Taught by Dale Stratil

Journeymen Bible Study
Journeymen take their responsibility as Christian husbands and fathers seriously and they want to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month in the Fellowship Hall at 7:30 am. They also organize fellowship activities during the year.

Learning Christian Meditation
Stressed out? Struggling at work or school? Relationships with family or friends strained? Significant decisions looming? Every area of your life can be transformed by learning to meditate on the Word of Christ. We’re not talking about “mindfulness” here, nor about developing the habit of reading devotions. Christian meditation is a relaxed form of concentration on God’s Word. In this class you’ll learn how to “let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly.” (Col 3:16) You’ll develop a practice of meditation that fits your personality, and through the Word of Christ—as you’ll discover—the Holy Spirit will help you discern the will of God and live in Godliness, confidence, and contentment.
Open to middle school students to adults. Held on Wednesday evenings, January 7-February 11, from 6:30-7:45pm in Room 202.
Taught by Pastor Lance O'Donnell

Women of Joy Bible Study
As women in the Word, we gather to lift up and encourage one another through Bible study and fellowship. All women of confirmation age and older are invited to join us – you do not need to be a member of St. Paul’s. We realize that schedules are busy and that you may not be able to attend all of the time, but please don’t let that discourage you from attending at all. Women’s Bible study meets the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month at Whelan’s.
