Outstanding extracurricular opportunities, athletics, special events, and emphasis on Christian service continue to make St. Paul’s Lutheran School and excellent choice not only for members of the congregation, but also for many families in the community looking for a caring Christian atmosphere.
Extracurricular Activities
Extracurricular programs are very important at St. Paul’s. We have many different opportunities for our students to get involved in activities that are of interest to them. A few examples of these programs are: Drama, Knowledge Bowl, Forensics, and Junior Girls Scouts. Each group is properly supervised by a member of the faculty or by a trained parent. With so many different options, our students have the freedom to try new things and explore the many talents that God has blessed them with.
Activities
Warrior Athletics
All of our students have the opportunity to get involved in our extracurricular sports program. We offer golf, volleyball, basketball, cross country & track and field at various times throughout the year. Our Warrior Athletic program is an integral part of the overall educational curriculum at St. Paul’s and we are blessed to give our students the opportunity to use their talents to glorify God in this way. Sunday School
Our Sunday School classes are for all children in grades 3K-8th grade and take place Sunday mornings from 9:15–10:15 am. Please drop children off in the gym for a brief opening time together before they head to their classrooms.
All children are invited and encouraged to attend. Each week kids will dig into God’s Word with their teachers, learning Old and New Testament stories through age-appropriate curriculum and activities. Our goal is to walk alongside parents, helping children grow in their faith and knowledge of the love and forgiveness of Christ, and to understand how loved they are as children of our Heavenly Father.
*Children in grades 3K–5K should be potty-trained.
Youth Group
Our ministry is to the young people of St. Paul’s, involving them in the work of Christ, providing for their spiritual growth and nurture, and promoting genuine Christian fellowship. St. Paul’s Youth Group is for teens from 5th grade through 12th grade. Their activities throughout the year include Bible study, fall service projects, delivering Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter food bags. This group is open to all youth in the Lake Country area, regardless of their membership at St. Paul’s.
