The Apostle Paul says everything that is of God dwells in Christ.  We confess this in the    Nicene Creed, “Christ is very God of very God,…being of one substance with the Father.”  In this personal union the two natures have such a grand, intimate, indescribable communion that even the angels are astonished by it. (FC SD VIII 30)  Jesus of Nazareth is God in the flesh.  This is how we as sinners can have the assurance that Christ’s work reconciles us to God.
